Douglas Snyder has over 25 years sustainable development experience, most of this in the green building sector. He has worked on public, institutional, industrial, educational, hospitality, health, commercial, and residential development projects in the US and Asia. Douglas serves as the Executive Director (2022-present) of the Vietnam Green Building Council (VGBC). Previously, he was Deputy Director of Sustainable Design for ARDOR Architects (2016-2021), green building expert (2014) in USAID’s Vietnam Clean Energy Project, and founder of his own US green building firm (2004-2016). Other past project partners include the World Bank, ADB, UNDP, and Vietnam Ministry of Construction and Ministry of Science and Technology. Douglas also serves on the board of directors of Keep Vietnam clean. He has his M.S., Organizational Management, from SIT Graduate Institute, USA, and B.S., Environmental Studies, State University of New York, USA.
