Mr. Truong Bui is currently the Managing Director of Roland Berger in Vietnam and also serves as the Deputy Managing Director for Southeast Asia. With over 20 years of experience in strategic consulting, he possesses deep expertise in infrastructure, industrial sectors, and socio-economic development for both public and private sectors. Of this, he has spent more than 14 years with Roland Berger globally, leading numerous strategic projects in Vietnam and across the region.
Throughout his career, Mr. Truong Bui has played a key role in advising and developing socio-economic development strategies for many key provinces and cities in Vietnam, including Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria–Vung Tau, Da Nang, and Phu Yen. The projects he has led have contributed to shaping development strategies for industry, services, tourism, and infrastructure in these localities.
In addition, he has advised and implemented numerous port, logistics, and industrial development strategies in many countries around the world, including Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, China, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Estonia, Latvia, Turkey, Egypt, and Brazil. These projects focus on improving operational efficiency, developing logistics ecosystems, and enhancing international competitiveness for key economic regions.
Mr. Truong Bui has also supported many international investors from Korea, Japan, China, Singapore, the United States, and Europe in entering and expanding their operations in the Vietnamese market. At the same time, he has worked alongside leading Vietnamese corporations such as Vingroup, Viettel, VNPT, Sun Group, Kinh Bac, Saigontel, and VSIP in developing growth strategies, digital transformation initiatives, and sustainable business expansion.
