Minh N. Do has served as Dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Science at VinUniversity, Vietnam, since 2026. He is also the Thomas and Margaret Huang Endowed Professor in Signal Processing and Data Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), USA, where he has been a faculty member since 2001. He was elevated to IEEE Fellow in 2014 for his contributions to image representation and computational imaging. Beginning in 2027, he will serve as Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Image Processing. He has also been active in technology transfer and entrepreneurship, including as co-founder and CTO of Personify and Chief Scientist of Misfit.
